Sjvc Articulation Agreement

Below is a list of community colleges, two-year independent institutions, technical schools and other California institutions for which DeVry University has agreements with DeVry University or developed program transfer guides. Apply the qualifying credits you`ve already acquired and upgrade to a DeVry Bachelor program. Even if your school or academic program is not mentioned, your qualification credits can be transferred. Contact an admissions manager to learn more about transferring your credit and get a transfer credit assessment. An articulation agreement is only a formal agreement, written between two institutions, which allows certain programs or courses to be attributed to one institution to a program of the other institution. Choose and follow you to save lessons, fees and time until you graduate. Many California universities, private or independent, will accept the completion of the GE-Breadth CHI and/or CSU to meet their lowest general education requirements; Others are often loaned for courses at Moorpark College, which are transferable to the University of California (UC TCA). In addition, the Ventura County Community District has developed articulation agreements with some of these schools. Articulation is the process of developing a formal agreement identifying courses on an “issuer” campus that are comparable or acceptable to a certain request for courses on a “receiving” institution. The success of an articulation course assures the student and the faculty that the student has taken the corresponding course, received the necessary instruction and preparation and is ready to take the next step.

Completion of the general requirements and/or requirements required by SJVC does not guarantee entry into a SJVC program. If you intend to transfer SJVC courses to another institution, you should contact that institution directly to determine unit portability. The acceptance of transfer credits is always the responsibility of the receiving institution. Here is a complete list of the articulation agreements of the SJVC. SJVC currently does not have a joint or transfer of credit contract with Bakersfield College or Fresno City College. Scholarships at the University of the Grand Canyon for SJVC employees/students – Basic courses vary depending on location.
